As seen in the Wednesday 9/30 Edition of Eastern Shore News! The Middle School students of Cape Charles Christian School made an excellent showing in the town's annual Fall Tomato Festival.
Their winning entry demonstrated the life cycle of a tomato plant and included: seeds, young plants, mature plants, green tomato, red tomato, bees as pollinators, and several food products (ketchup and spaghetti).
The float entry won TWO awards at the parade: Best Novelty Float and Best Dressed Golf Cart.
