Jumping for... Math?

"Coach Victor" as he's known around the halls is a man of many hats! In addition to orchestrating our Athletic Program and spearheading our Morning Fitness, Victor plays a critical role as a Teachers' Aide for several cluster classes.

Ask your kids... about their jumping games in Math class? Some educators would call this Kinetic Learning. It boils down to this-- some students learn better if they are moving and if they can let off some excess energy. Victor's creative math classes were a big hit at school this week.

Stewardship at CCCS
October focus is the Food Bank

Teaching and modeling stewardship is a part of the mission of CCCS. Throughout September, our classes have been introduced to ideas that connect us with our Town and surroundings. The Patriots' Day ceremony and procession is an example of this.

Our focus for October is the Food Bank. This mission of Trinity Methodist Church provides a service that many families in our community rely upon. CCCS will conduct a canned food drive in early October.

Patriot's Day

Thanks to the many citizens, parents, and friends who joined us for a Patriot's Day ceremony and procession.

Announcement: Patriot's Day 9/11 (Friday) Invitation

We invite you to join with the students and faculty of the Cape Charles Christian School at 11:00 am on Patriot’s Day, September 11th, at the Cape Charles Fire Department to remember and to honor the unselfish valor, the incredible courage, bravery and heroism of the many fire fighters, police, medical and military personnel who have perished.

We will then all walk in a solemn procession to Memorial Park on Mason Avenue to remember all of the citizens who lost their lives on that day and all who mourn them.

One Week to go to the start of a new school year AND a new school!

We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the Open House on Thursday.
Please come meet the teachers and staff of Cape Charles Christian School and see all the progress we've made over the summer in our new space. We'll have snacks and smiles and homework... ok, we'll hold off on the homework.
